This section holds refurbished servers of corporate class — rack-mount machines from European data centres, where they ran around the clock. Every machine comes with a warranty and a clearly stated condition.

New or refurbished?

With servers the price gap is the widest of all the hardware we sell. Large operators replace their machines on a schedule rather than on failure, so the units reach the market fully working.

• A refurbished server is the sensible pick for virtualisation, file storage, databases, a domain controller, video surveillance or a lab. The hardware is built for 24/7 duty, with redundant power supplies and disk arrays.
• A new server makes sense when you need the latest processors, a multi-year manufacturer warranty, or a configuration the second-hand market simply does not carry.

How to choose a server

• Role: a file server or domain controller is fine with one processor and 32–64 GB of memory. For virtualisation with several guests, look for two processors and 128 GB upwards.
• Processors: nearly everything here runs Intel Xeon, and most units are dual-socket. Socket and core counts are listed on every product — for virtualisation, cores matter more than clock speed.
• Memory: server memory is ECC and differs from desktop modules. Typical builds here are 64, 128 and 256 GB, reaching 512 GB on the larger machines.
• Drives and controller: SAS drives with a hardware RAID controller dominate. SAS outlasts SATA under constant load, and the array protects your data when a drive fails.
• Rack height: 1U saves space but runs louder and holds fewer drives. 2U is quieter, cools better and takes more drives and cards.
• Power: models with two power supplies keep running when one fails — essential if the machine must not stop.
• Remote management: HPE iLO and Dell iDRAC let you power, reinstall and monitor the machine without standing in front of it. For a racked server that is routine, not a luxury.

The bulk of the range is HPE ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge, alongside Fujitsu PRIMERGY, Lenovo and Cisco — the lines found in corporate data centres, with solid documentation, available spares and a long service life.

Condition and warranty

Each machine carries a condition class — As new, Excellent or Good — and the price follows the condition. Every server ships with a standard one-year warranty. We run our own service centre and handle post-warranty repairs too; you can file a request straight from your profile.

Delivery and returns

We deliver anywhere in Bulgaria, usually within 24 hours for items in stock. Delivery to a Speedy office is free on orders above €75, and €4.99 to an address. Parcels ship with an inspect-before-you-pay option, and the return window is 14 days.
