More about our refurbished computers

What are refurbished computers?

These are typically desktop computers from branded business lines, imported from across Europe, where they belonged to large companies that do not cut corners on equipment. The machines are highly reliable and cost considerably less than a new computer.

A used computer is an excellent way to get quality hardware without overpaying. There is little point in buying an expensive new machine when a refurbished one will do exactly the same job.

Advantages and drawbacks

Advantages:

  • Price: the difference between a new and a refurbished computer of comparable capability is often several-fold.
  • Quality: we offer business-class machines imported from EU countries and used only in corporate environments. Each one is inspected and assessed in our service centre before it goes on sale.
  • Warranty: every computer comes with a one-year warranty, so our technicians are there for you if anything goes wrong.

Drawbacks are kept to a minimum, and where they exist they are described in detail in the product specification. Our aim is not to sell at any cost, but to help you find the right machine for your needs.

How to choose a refurbished computer

Which configuration?

The processor is the defining component and should match the workload you intend to put on it. The amount of memory determines how many applications will run smoothly at the same time, while the storage is chosen according to how much data you keep. An SSD is the single upgrade that most noticeably speeds up everyday work.

Pick the configuration based on what you will actually do with it. If you are unsure, call us and we will work it out together.

Custom-built or branded?

The computers we sell are bought from companies working across different industries. What they have in common is that all of them chose reliable hardware to keep their operations running: business lines from proven manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu and Apple, which are rarely affordable to a home user when new.

Custom-built machines assembled from whatever parts were at hand have little in common with one from a leading brand. The clearest difference is cooling and noise: branded machines run virtually silent. The advantages do not end there, but they are easiest to appreciate in practice.

Why choose iZone?

A wide choice of models

You will find refurbished desktop configurations with a range of specifications, suitable for home as well as office use. The range starts at budget solutions and goes up to modern machines that can handle gaming.

Fair prices

Buying a business-class refurbished computer saves you a significant amount while still being a sound purchase, and it comes with a warranty. Business-class machines also last considerably longer than mass-market models, which makes the economics even better.

Quality you can rely on

Before going on sale, every refurbished computer goes through component testing and a mandatory service of the cooling system. That is why they run quietly, stay cool and remain dependable for years after the warranty ends. All models come with a one-year warranty.
